From playing with pencils on notebooks, or anything else I could bang on, it started. When I would go visit my cousins in Brooklyn,NY, they would turn me on to some cool stuff like Led Zepplin, Guitars, Singing, and then Drums!! My Cousin Jimmy sat me behind a real drum set and taught me some beats. It changed me from within. From there I never stopped. All of my cousins, Aunts and Uncles are musical. They all encouraged and helped me grow with music. |
I still have the old 45's they gave me to practice to. I Love them all very much. From Brooklyn to Virginia… I always had support from my family. My parents and my sister, put up with alot of noise, over the years. They never complained, and I have been very lucky. They all would make it to as many shows as they could. Music has given me some of my best and worst moments, but I wouldn't change playing for anything. |
I have been in a few local bands over the years: "Basement Boy's", "Persuaders", "Transzition", "Lydian Fortune", "Second Hand Smoke", "Bad-Animals", "Atrium", They are all learning experiences. My influences are John Bonham, Neil Peart and Mike Portnoy. I would like to thank Keith and Gary for letting me in on this opportunity to play some great music. If I can't play from the heart, its tough, but this stuff I really feel!! |
I would Love to give a big thanks to all who believed in me and my drumming: Mom, Dad, Sis. WW. Cousins: Jimmy, Billy, Tommy, Michael, Steven, Arthur, Joanne, Robert, Scott, Loreen WW: Friends: Ben, Ray(The guy that drives the van), Tony, Jo, Liz, Melanie, Rich, Kevin, Wally, John, Bobby, Tommy Bass, Tommy Guitar, Deana, Vox, WW., Brian, Ritchie, Zano, Cino, Sugar, Blarney Rock Gang. All my Aunts and Uncles. And finally to my Kids - James, and Krista, who understand when I have to go out and practice, gig and record when I have to. |
