Q: How do I contact the Lydian Fortune website webmaster?
A: The webmaster can be contacted at admin@lydianfortune.com

Q: How do I contact Keith Kurbin?
A: Keith Kurbin can be contacted at keith.kurbin@lydianfortune.com

Q: How can I contact specific band members?
A: The band members can be contacted by going to their respective BIO pages. In fact any item on any page that is gold in color, if clicked on, will generally direct you to a specific page for that person or subject.

Q: How did you get the name Lydian Fortune?
A: Lydian Fortune was the name of a band that guitarists Keith Kurbin and Tom McCormack, drummer John Barlow, and vocalist Gary Gelina originally formed in New York City in 1990. The name was a culmination of ideas between Keith, Tom and Gary. That incarnation ended in 1991, and the name Lydian Fortune disappeared. The name remained unused and forgotten until 2004 when guitarist Keith Kurbin resurrected and registered the name for this music project, and brought original vocalist Gary Gelina back on board to write new music.

Q: Why are there different members playing on each CD?
A: This current project of Lydian Fortune was created by Guitarist Keith Kurbin. Vocalist Gary Gelina was brought on as a 'permanent member'. Keith and Gary wrote all the music for the first CD 'Songs from Aloft", and it was recorded with Keith playing ALL the guitars, and Gary singing ALL of the vocals. The CD was recorded using a studio Drummer (Chris Wilkes) and a studio Bass Player (Stephen Brink). This was intentional and allowed Keith and Gary free creative control to develop and grow Lydian Fortune. For the next CD 'Songs from Beneath' a different Drummer (David Borowski) was brought in to offer a slightly different feel to the record. This is just a natural growth process that we will explore to change the dynamics of each recording.

Q: What are those gold symbols imprinted on the coin in the Lydian Fortune banner?
A: They are the lower case greek letters "L" and "F" (or more correctly in lower case "l" and "f"). I'll let you figure out what L and F stand for....LOL!

Q: Does the CD titles Songs from "Aloft", "Beneath", and "Afar" mean anything specific?
A: Yes they do. While some of the songs on the CD's are generic to the present time, all 3 CD's will autobiographically represent particular periods in the life of Keith Kurbin and Lydian Fortune. "Aloft" represents the period that he learned to play guitar in an actual loft in 1986. The music on that CD will completely reflect and be a tribute to 70's, 80's and 90's hard rock that influenced him and Gary gelina. "Beneath" will be a more aggressive and modern sound, and the music will reflect a more original genre of music than the "Aloft" CD, and create a niche that defines the music of Lydian Fortune. "Afar" will be a natural step beyond the "Beneath" period. Each CD liner notes will detail this more.
